Understanding Your EOB

Know What Your Health Plan Covers — and What You May Owe

Know What Your Health Plan Covers — and What You May Owe

Making the most of your health coverage starts with understanding how your plan processes claims. Whenever you or your provider submits a claim, PAI generates an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to help you understand what was billed, what your plan covered, and any remaining amount you may owe.

Your EOB includes clear details about:

  • The services you received

  • How the claim was processed

  • What your health plan paid

  • What charges (if any) you may owe to your provider

You can view or print your EOBs anytime through your Member Benefit Portal, giving you secure access to your claim history, deductible totals, plan documents, and more.

If you have questions about reading your EOB, call the customer service number on your ID card or send a message through the Member Portal.
